Time flies
Well this is a turn up for the books, was blogging well (albeit somewhat ranting most of the time) and then suddenly it stopped, so I thought I’d update this a bit with what’s been going on.
In short, I’ve been extremely busy. No other way to put it really.
After I recently joined another team of games developers known as Adarakion to help out with artwork, promotions and business management, between them and my regular team at Horizon Studios we have been working on the release of two beta demos of our projects, namely RoChain and Galoop: Thirst Contact, of course typically the release dates for both of these just happened to hit on the same week.
With RoChain currently getting plenty of feedback from the group of beta testers it leaves myself and the rest of the Horizon Studios team time to concentrate on putting the finishing touches to the demo of Galoop which we’re hoping to launch this weekend, so there is still plenty to do for the galoop website, redesigning the Horizon and Adarakion websites and making announcement posts on everything in various places.
At the same time I’ve also been busy with the regular day work, having recently recreated a flyer/poster for a Beverley Artistes show this Christmas and creating characters for the inside of the booking form for Durham Musical Theatre Company’s next show Grand Hotel.
I’ll update this post with some images and other info once I get back from final test of this game.
